These terms apply to your use of the Savannah Master Calendar website (the "Site"), run by Savannah Master Calendar, LLC ("SMC", "we", "us"). By using the Site, submitting a listing or buying anything from us, you agree to them.
What the Site is
SMC is a community calendar of events in and around Savannah, Georgia, with a directory of local businesses and a set of deals that VIP members can redeem.
All event listings are subject to change. SMC is not responsible for the content of event listings, and we do not organize the events listed. Please contact the event organizer directly for complete, up-to-date information.
Submitting events and businesses
Anyone can submit an event or add a business for free, with or without an account. Every submission is reviewed by our team before it appears publicly, and we may edit, decline or remove any submission at our discretion.
You promise that what you submit is accurate, that you have the right to share it (including any image you upload), and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights. You give SMC permission to display, adapt for formatting, and promote your submission on the Site and in our newsletters.
What you can buy
SMC sells three things. Each is a one-time purchase that does not renew automatically, and the price shown at checkout, in US dollars, is the price you pay.
- Event boost: ranks a submitted event higher on the calendar, and at higher levels on the home page and in our Monday newsletter. The more you pay, the higher it ranks. A boost lasts until the last day of the event it was bought for. A repeating event is one listing, but a boost covers a single date.
- Business ad: places an advertisement for a business on the Site. An ad runs for 30 days from the date of purchase. Placement is arranged by our team once your business listing is approved, and we may decline an ad that is unsuitable.
- VIP pass: unlocks the deals that local businesses offer through the Site. A pass lasts 3 days from the date of purchase (3-Day Visitor), 7 days from the date of purchase (7-Day Visitor), or 1 year from the date of purchase (all other VIP plans).
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. SMC never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe emails you a receipt after you pay. Discount codes, where we offer them, are entered on the payment page.
Nothing you buy is delivered until the payment is confirmed. A boost, an ad or a VIP pass starts when we receive that confirmation, which usually takes a few seconds.
Refunds
Our Refund Policy explains when we refund. If a payment is refunded, in full or in part, the boost, ad or VIP pass it bought is removed.
VIP deals
Deals are offered by the businesses themselves, not by SMC. Each VIP member can redeem a deal once. Businesses may change or withdraw a deal, and SMC is not a party to what you buy from a business.
Using the Site
Do not misuse the Site: no scraping at a rate that harms it, no attempts to break into accounts or systems, no false or misleading submissions, and no use of a boost or deal in a way meant to deceive other users.
Liability
The Site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, SMC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Site means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
