Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
This policy explains what Savannah Master Calendar, LLC ("SMC", "we", "us") collects through the Savannah Master Calendar website (the "Site"), how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
Only what the Site needs to do what you ask of it:
- Event and business submissions: the details you enter, any image you upload, and your name and contact email so we can reach you about it.
- Accounts (invitation only): your name, your email address and a password. The password is handled by our sign-in provider and is never visible to us.
- Contact form and newsletter sign-up: your name, email, and the optional company, title and phone number you choose to give, plus your message.
- Purchases: the amount, the discount code if you used one, the date, and the identifiers Stripe gives us for the payment. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers.
- How the Site is used: pages visited and errors encountered, through analytics and error-tracking tools.
Cookies and similar storage
The Site uses a sign-in cookie for members and admins. When you submit an event or add a business without an account, it sets a short-lived cookie that lets this browser manage or boost that submission for a couple of hours. Our analytics tool may also set cookies or use local storage to count visits. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
To review and publish submissions, process payments and send receipts, run accounts and the deals program, answer your messages, send the newsletter (you can unsubscribe from any issue), keep the Site secure, and understand how it is used so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run the Site for us, each only for that job: Stripe (payments), our database, sign-in and file-storage provider (Supabase), our hosting provider (Vercel), our analytics and error-tracking provider (PostHog), and our email delivery providers.
Anything you submit for a public listing, such as an event's details or a business's name and address, is published on the Site. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep submissions and purchase records for as long as the listing or the business relationship needs them, and for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records. To see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, contact us.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
