Bunny’s “Pink” Heroes Campaign Expands Across Savannah as Local Businesses Rally to Support Keepers of the Flame
October 24, 2026
Community sponsors and businesses join forces throughout October to raise awareness, honor fighters, and provide financial support for local breast cancer patients
Savannah is thinking pink this October as the Pink Heroes Campaign: Supporting Keepers of the Flame continues to grow, bringing together local businesses, community partners and supporters to raise awareness and funds for those impacted by breast cancer.
At the center of the campaign is the unmistakable Pink Lady K, a brightly wrapped vehicle that will be scooting around Savannah throughout October, serving as a mobile reminder of the importance of breast cancer awareness, early detection and supporting those currently fighting the disease.
But the campaign goes far beyond the vehicle.
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, Bunny’s Pink Heroes Campaign has expanded into a month-long community effort benefiting Keepers of the Flame, a Savannah-area nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families navigating breast cancer.
Several local businesses are donating a portion of their October proceeds or creating special opportunities for customers to give back:
- Johnnie Ganem’s Wine & Package Shop will donate a portion of October sales to Keepers of the Flame.
- The Escape Company will donate 50% of proceeds from its Pink Piggy Goes to City Market cocktail to Keepers of the Flame and will offer pink cocktail shakers in exchange for donations benefiting the organization.
- Savannah’s Candy Kitchen will donate a portion of proceeds during October.
- Katrina’s Mexican Grill will donate a portion of proceeds during October.
- Ardsley Station will donate a portion of proceeds during October.
These businesses join an outstanding group of sponsors who stepped forward to help make the Pink Heroes Campaign possible, including Symphona Technology, Tanger Outlets, SARecycling, General Formulations, Coca-Cola Savannah, WJCL, and Savannah Master Calendar.
The campaign has also been brought to life with support from Bunny Ware/Bunny in the City, whose community presence and signature energy are helping take the message throughout Savannah. As well as Mark Grainger Quality Auto for providing the amazing Lincoln Aviator for this years campaign.
Driving Awareness. Honoring the Fighters.
The Pink Heroes Campaign was created to make breast cancer awareness impossible to overlook while giving the Savannah community meaningful ways to participate. Throughout the month, residents are encouraged to keep an eye out for the Pink Lady as she travels around town, makes appearances at local businesses and community events, and helps spread the message of hope, prevention and support.
The campaign also provides an opportunity to recognize the fighters, celebrate survivors, remember those lost and remind anyone facing breast cancer that they do not have to face it alone.
Every donation and purchase made through participating businesses will help support the work of Keepers of the Flame and its mission to assist those navigating breast cancer in the local community.
“This campaign is a perfect example of what Savannah does best—businesses and community members coming together to support one another,” Marianne Ganem-Poppell said. “What started with one very pink vehicle has grown into something much bigger. Every sponsor, every participating business and every person who makes a donation is helping us drive awareness while directly supporting people in our own community.”
Community members are encouraged to support the participating businesses throughout October, make a donation when they see campaign opportunities around town and, of course, be on the lookout for the Pink Lady K scooting around Savannah.
