Celebrate NARW season with music, food trucks, whale yoga, vendors, art activities, games and partner tabling alongside the Farmers Market! About Whale Week 365: Each December marks the season when North Atlantic right whales (NARW) migrate south to calve their newborns off the coast of Georgia. Researchers estimate that there are only less than 400 of these whales left, making them one of the most endangered large marine mammals on the planet. Each winter, TIMSC hosts a multi-day agenda focused on protecting and educating about NARWs through the arts, sciences, and cultural projects. Check out the Whale Week 2026 schedule starting Nov. 30 and culminating in the Right Whale to Save Festival on Dec. 5.
